Jeff Bezos spent years thinking being a great student was part of who he was.

The things he had been praised for were the things that came naturally. The parts that actually tested him were the choices to work harder, take on something unfamiliar, and put himself somewhere he might struggle.
That’s a very different way of looking at achievement.
